Just a quick post on a card I made for my Step-Mother today. Her birthday is Monday and her and my Father will be in our area this weekend to celebrate her b-day…and with the postal strike, I thought I would hand deliver my card. This was a fun card to make. I colored a Greeting Farm Stamped image (Cheeky Nurse) with my Prisma Colored pencils. I used a sheet of vintage music paper and inked it up with Tim Holtz, Vintage Photo Distress Ink (I used that color for all of the card except for the image, that was Memento Tuxedo Black Ink). I adhered the music sheet to some Kraft card stock and curled the edge. I rounded all the corners on this project. I used some Bakers Twine to wrap the card in the same color as the shoes and card stock that is mating the image. I inked up a paper doily and sprayed it all with some homemade glimmer spray. I added some vintage buttons from my stash. I have no idea what stamp set the sentiment is from or where I got it from. I really hope she likes the card. I really like how this turned out.
Thanks for peeking in!
