Good Morning crafters….I hope that everyone is having a good weekend so far. We woke up this morning to a rain/snow mix….that was a shock to the senses at 6:30 am when I was driving hubby to work. But the trusty weather network tells me that it is going to turn into a beautiful weekend. I wanted to post a few cards that I completed this week before I started my day. It has been a busy week that has caught up with me so I am lagging behind. Here is my first Mother’s Day card for the season:
This stamped image is from Crafter’s Companion that I picked up a while back from a local store that was going out of business. I colored the Mum and daughter with my colored pencils and Gamsol. I used my doily Punch Around the Page set from Martha Stewart. I broke out my new Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and die cut the frame and the rolled flowers that I used. I punched out some leaves with the Rose Leaf punch from Martha Stewart. I used sentiment from my stash and punched it out with a Stampin Up punch. I added some flat back pearls to the centers of the flowers and a pink bow to finish off the card.
I hope everyone has a great day! Thanks for peeking in!
