Happy Anniversary

Good Afternoon crafters, I just wanted to pop on here and post a card I created for the Stampsmith Design team.  I created an anniversary card.  Jim and My’s anniversary is coming up this summer and I wanted to make a card for him….my first attempt any ways.  Here is a peek at what I created:

I used The Stampsmiths stamp called Wedding Bells Art Rubber Stamps.  I stamped it in Ancient Page black ink.  I distressed it and inked it with Black soot distress ink.  I matted on some scrap paper from the K&Co paper that I used for my layout from an earlier post.  I added some different pieces and strips of the paper from the collection, ripping and inking all of them.  I created the flower with some vintage eyelet cotton trim and added a resin flower that was also inked in black.  I added some color to Estelle’s yummy image with some chalk on his hair, her face and flowers.

Be sure to drop over to The Stampsmith site and check out all the wonderful stamps that Estelle has to offer.  Also, check out the DT blog for some ideas.  There is a monthly challenge for The Stampsmith.  Drop over and see how you can win some of her yummy rubber.

Thanks for peeking in!
