Good morning crafters, I hope that everyone had a great weekend. The heat here was a bit overwhelming for me, so yesterday I stayed put and did some crafting. I made this really cute (cutesy cute) Housewarming card. Here is a peek at what I created:
I used the new My Minds Eye paper line called, Gnome Sweet Gnome and a stamp set from Recollections called, Gnome Sweet Gnome (weird huh). I stamped and colored the Gnome, mushrooms, and the picket fence and colored them with my Gamsol and colored pencils. I fussy cut the images out. I made my homemade Action wobble and added it to the back of the gnome so he rocks back and forth. I used some coordinating card stock to punch out and add some grass to the base of the card. I stamped out the sentiment and popped it up on some foam tape. I used one of my Martha Stewart butterfly punches to add some butterflies to the front of the card. In lieu of the flower that was in the pot on the stamp, I added a paper flower from my stash and a pearl bling. This is not really my style but I really love it.
I picked this paper pad up from Kim at The Cutting Garden. There are lots of cute ‘woodsy’ patterns in this line.
Thanks for peeking in!
