Happy Monday crafters, I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was wonderful here. I just wanted to pop on here this am to post a Birthday card that I created a few weeks ago for a friend. She wanted to give it to her Grandmother. She is currently living in assisted living as she is almost 90. The only request was that she loved and used to grow roses.
This is what I came up with:
That stamp is from a Flourishes stamp set that I picked up ages back from Kim at The Cutting Garden. I colored the image with my pencils and Gamsol. I used my Clear Star gel pen on the flowers after it was colored. I used one of my Spellbinder sets (decorative Squares I think). I used some of the Garden Floral pad from Recollections for the base and the layers. I inked it all with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I added a double bow, a pink satin flower and some pearls from my stash. I think this is a simple card for a wonderful lady.
Thanks for peeking in and have a great day!!!
