Good morning crafters, I hope that everyone is having a great weekend so far. It is the Canada Day weekend here and unfortunately the weather is not cooperating. The weather this weekend is rain-rain-rain. So I think I will get a lot of crafting done this weekend! I just wanted to pop on here and post a card that I created a couple of weeks ago for someone that Jim works with. Apparently she took it upon herself to clean the entire unit where the work, top to bottom. The wanted to acknowledge all her hard work. So I broke out my Cameo and created this fun card.
Here is a peek at what I created:
I cut out the little ladybug lady with my Cameo. I added some white gel pen to her eyes and red Stickles on her antennas and little red shoes. I inked all the pieces with Tea Dye Distress Ink to create some definition I used my Honeycomb embossing folder from Cuttlebug to create a background. I added a beloved white French Pastry Doily die cut behind the ladybug. I added some red and white ribbon to the background. I added a sentiment to the card front and a little ladybug next to her. I made the broom with some scraps of brown card stock. You can’t tell in this picture but I popped her up on an Action Wobble so she will rock back and forth like she is sweeping.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend!
Thanks for peeking in!
