Good morning crafters, I hope that everyone is having a great day so far. I just wanted to pop on here and post some ‘Maritime’ cards. I grew up in Yarmouth and it is a lobster/fishing community. I haven’t lived there is MANY years but my family is still there. There are days that I wake up and miss it and them terribly and today is one of those days. I think a trip home is in my future.
I just wanted to post these cards:
This is a SU stamp set, very appropriate for the this part of the country. I created the back ground on the first card with some coastal stamps that I have. I added a wood veneer embellishment on it and the patterned paper was a gift from my friend Shelly.
The second one I used a nautical embossing folder I have in my stash, a button from my stash and some yummy bakers twine.
I finished off the cards with a stamped sentiment from a Just Rite stamp set.
I picked up the bakers twine, wood veneers, and the Just Rite stamp set from Kim at The Cutting Garden.
Thanks for peeking in!
