Good morning crafters and happy Tuesday. I hope that everyone survived Monday. I just wanted to pop on here and post a card that I created last week. I have become obsessed with using up or purging my scraps these days. I created a series of cards using the scraps from a layout from last month’s Shape Challenge on The Cutting Garden’s blog. I just loved the paper line and couldn’t bring myself to get rid of the scraps so I did make several cards one day and called the scraps done! I’m not sure why I am that way because I am drowning in paper ( and I would die a happy Gal surrounded by my beloved paper collection…lol).
Here is a peek at one of the cards from this series:
The stamp is from a set that I got in March from Sale-a-brations from Stampin Up. I used the darkest blue ink that I own called Cobalt Blue from Ranger. I triple stamped it so it would fad off the page. Masculine cards are hard. I love to add ‘fluff’ to them but this card is simple in my opinion. I love this paper line from My Minds Eye. I still have several sheets of the paper left but just couldn’t waste the scraps. I hand cut some pennants from the paper and cut the sentiment into one as well. I added some glue to the tips and bent them up to give the illusion that the sentiment pennant is blowing in the wind.
I love that ink color I used. It is my go to blue ink these days. Kim carries a wide range of Ranger Archival inks in the store.
Thanks for peeking in and have a great day!
