Good morning crafters, I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I know it has been a while since I posted but the holidays are a busy time and I just got out of the habit of blogging.
Here is a peek at a couple of Christmas cards that I created a couple of weeks back:
I really love the Pure Innocence stamps. They are probably my favorite stamp line. I opted for some bright and fun colors for these cards. I colored the images with colored pencils and Gamsol. The card on the right I fussy cut out the image and added it to a circle and scallop circle. I added some tiny punched out Christmas trees behind the little girl as background. I used the Martha Stewart Punch anywhere snowflake punch to create the background. I finished off that card with a poinsettia and some iridescent ribbon and a flat back pearl for the center of the flower.
The second card is much simpler but just as cute. I colored the image with pencils again and punch them out in a circle and backed it with a scallop circle. I added some of the coordinating patterned paper and a sentiment for the front of the card.
I always have fun creating these cards as I love these images.
The Cutting Garden always has a great selection of this stamp line.
Thanks for peeking in!!!!
