Good morning crafters and happy Saturday. It has been a while since I posted to my blog. My relapse continues and my hand is an issue but I am hopeful that I will improve. I am hoping to start a new MS drug treatment this month once a few more hoops are jumped through. I just wanted to pop on here and post a card and gift card holder that I created a few months back. It was a fun project to create.
Here is a peek at what I created:
The image is a Kraftin Kimmie image that I have had forever. It is probably one of the first image stamps that I bought when I started coloring. I colored her with pencils and Gamsol and fussy cut her out. I created an under water scene with the image. I punched some blue cardstock with my Fiskars wave punch. I stamped out some fish and fussy cut them out. I added some die cut wreaths that looked like under water plants and finished it off with some glitter.
My dear friend Eleanor Gillis taught me how to make the gift card holder a while back so I created one that matched the mermaid card. I added bow to the card holder (as per Eleanor’s wonderful tutorial) and finished it off with a gold fish with a fun goggalie eye!
Thanks for peeking in !!!
