Good evening all and Happy Monday. As most of you may know, Weight Watchers has a team for the Scotia Bank Bluenose Marathon coming up in May. Weight Watchers’s charity of choice for this event is Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society.
Pancreatic cancer patients need your support to change their outcome!
Every dollar raised, every increase in awareness means better options for them and their families.
Pancreatic cancer deaths are expected to surpass breast cancer deaths by 2020, making it the third deadliest cancer in Canada.
For anyone who had the honour to know Nancy Murphy, a Weight Watchers leader, colleague & friend, we do this in our honour and memory.
Sadly, Nancy passed away from pancreatic cancer in September 2015. She is missed and remembered by many!
As my contribution for the fundraising, I will be hosting a charity card making class! I have created two fun cards that we can make up as a group. The cost for the class is 10$. All supplies will be provided, however if there are card makers participating, please bring along some small scissors for doing a little fussy cutting. I will have two lovely assistants helping me out that night. If you are looking to support the cause and have a little fun, this is the event for you.
The date of the class will be Friday April 6th at 7pm. Location will be the Portland street Weight Watchers Centre.
Cost is 10$.

Deadline to register is Friday March 30Th (Good Friday). That will give me the week to cut and prep for the class.
Class limit is 20 people
