Good Evening Crafters, a quick post on a sympathy card I created for one of Jim’s co-workers who recently lost a family member.
Here is the card I created:
I used the calla lily stamp set from Flourishes Stamp set that I picked up at The Cutting Garden. I colored the image with my colored pencils and Gamsol. I fussy cut the image and popped it up on the base of the 5 x 5 card. The patterned paper is from a Recollections paper pad called, Fashionably Chic. I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set on a cream piece of paper. Once it was punched, I took an X-Acto knife and cut two diagonal lines across the paper. I then took a paint brush and using the base, rolled the sides down, creating the opening. I added a ‘With Sympathy’ sentiment that I punched out using my Word Window punch from Stampin Up and added a piece of punched out patterned paper using my Modern Label Punch from Stampin Up. I added some coordinating bling and a satin bow.
Thanks for peeking in!

Beautiful cards Mel. Love how you have framed the image on this one.
